Terms of Service

What this site is

Private Vatican is an independent, first-hand guide to Rome street food and food tours. Content reflects the personal experience and opinion of the person who runs the site, written to help you plan a trip — it isn't a substitute for checking current details directly with a tour operator before booking.

Bookings

All tour bookings are made through GetYourGuide, an independent booking platform. Prices, availability, cancellation terms, and the conduct of tour guides are set by GetYourGuide and the individual tour operators, not by Private Vatican. We link to tours we believe are worth recommending, but we don't control or guarantee the experience once you book.

Accuracy

We try to keep prices, durations, and descriptions current, but they can change on the operator's side faster than we can update this site. Always confirm final details on the booking page before paying.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

What Private Vatican is, and what it is not

Private Vatican is an independent website that helps you compare tours and read practical guides. We do not run the tours, we do not take payment and we do not sell tickets. When you decide to book, you finish the booking on the website of our booking partner, and your booking is an agreement between you and that partner.

Prices and availability

A price shown on this website is a starting point to help you compare. Prices, dates and availability change, and they can depend on the season, the size of your group and how early you book. A price marked with an approximate sign is an estimate, not a quote. The booking page always shows the price and the availability that apply to your date, and that is the one that counts.

How accurate the information is

We work to keep the tours, guides and prices correct and up to date, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete or current at every moment. Please check the details that matter to you, such as the meeting point, the duration, what is included and the cancellation rules, on the booking page before you pay. The guides are general information and are not professional travel, medical or legal advice.

Booking, changes and cancellations

Changes, refunds and cancellations are handled by the booking partner under its own conditions, which are shown on the booking page. If something goes wrong with a booking, contact the partner first, because only the partner can change or refund it. You are welcome to write to us as well, and we will help where we can.

Links to other websites

We link to booking partners and other websites for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their prices or their service.

Using this website

You are welcome to read and share the pages of this website. Please do not copy large parts of it to publish elsewhere without asking, do not try to disturb or overload the website, and do not use it for anything unlawful. We may change the website and these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
